This role in summary:
As an IT Infrastructure & Operations manager you will lead teams that are responsible for It Infrastructure, ITSM Governance processes and End User Services to ensure availability, reliability, security and scalability of IT operations in Brazil. This position interacts and aligns actions with Global Teams and vendors for various operational issues and changes that systems can experience. Measure the service performance against the set KPIs and lead corrective actions to meet them. Maintain and improve ITSM Governance processes (Incident, Change Management and Problem). Have an enthusiastic, go-for-it attitude to take ownership of IT operations. Lead teams and collaborate with IT business partners to improve solutions stability and implement IT Infrastructure best practices. Budget management (CAPEX and OPEX) and business cases preparation.
Your responsibilities will include:
In this role you will manage the IT infrastructure and operations teams, providing leadership, guidance and support as people leader;
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and global teams ensuring quality of services provided and managed by SLAs;
Communicate with IT business partners, stakeholders and vendors regarding system outage, impact, Lead time to resolve with regular updates on the progress
Plan, Implement and Support activities and projects under Infrastructure scope.
Maintain and improve ITSM Governance processes to ensure stable and simplified operations;
Evaluate and implement new technology solutions to improve Infrastructure efficiency and security, including business case proposition;Manage and report I&O quality and performance metrics by KPIs.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's Degree : (BE/B Tech) in Computer stream;
Exp : 8 Years experience in IT with 5+ years of experience in I&O role, managing On Prem and Cloud Servers, Network and ITSM processes;
In-depth knowledge of networks, operating systems, hyperconvergence, virtualization and cloud computing such as LAN, WLAN and WAN, Linux, Windows, AD, DNS, Nutanix, VXRails, AWS EC2, EBS or GCP equivalent products;
2+ years of proven experience as people leader role;
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese;
Proficient in Agile methodology;
Experience with COBIT and ITIL;
Proficient in SRE Practices for Reliability and Availability, Monitoring, Incident Response, Post-Mortem.
Preferred skills and experiences:
SRE Foundations Certification;
COBIT and or ITIL Certification;
Cloud Certification as Practitioner level for AWS or GCP;
Proven experience as Manager in IT;
Self development trainings on communication, business etiquettes;
Expected to be Passionate to learn, Resilience in troubleshooting, Persuasive in collaborating, clear and transparent in communication.
