Role/Project Description:
"Responsible for core infrastructure services covering the following areas:
Server operations (wintel and unix), Database operations (oracle and sql), Storage and Backup operations (EMC technologies), Tools monitoring, Network Operations (WAN, LAN and wireless)
Responsible for 24X7 operations covering the above. Must have experience managing a distributed team (i.e. onshore and offshore) supporting a mission critical environment. Core focus areas include ability to manage the following:
- 24X7 operations
- Proactive management of the environment
- Ability to manage globally distributed teams with a level of rigor required to support a mission critical environment"
