The Infrastructure Security Engineer (DevSecOps) Role
As an Infrastructure Security Engineer at Qlik, you will be at the forefront of securing our SaaS Cloud Infrastructure. Your role is to research, design, and implement cutting-edge security solutions that align with our policies, standards, and legal requirements.

Innovative Security Solutions: Spearhead the design and implementation of security solutions, contributing to the evolution of Qlik's SaaS Cloud security.Automation for Scaling: Prioritize automation to enhance security tooling coverage, focusing on detecting, alerting, and remediating vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.Collaborative Impact: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SRE, IT, and Developers, to embed security seamlessly and drive secure practices throughout the organization.Evangelizing Cloud Security: Develop, advocate, and monitor the adoption of robust cloud security practices, influencing the entire Qlik infrastructure positively.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
Architecture Reviews: Conduct security architecture reviews for new and existing product or platform components, ensuring the highest standards of security.Autonomy and Ownership: Independently triage and resolve security issues, continuously improving incident detection and risk mitigation.Policy Updates and Audits: Participate in updating security policies, internal and external audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments, contributing to a secure environment.Subject Matter Expertise: Be a recognized subject matter expert on cloud security, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
We’re looking for a teammate with:
3+ Years of Experience: Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, or a related field, showcasing a strong background in Cloud technologies and Information Security.Effective Communication: Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating and influencing business stakeholders, fostering collaboration.Cloud Proficiency: Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP or Azure) and experience with DevOps, SRE, Kubernetes, Containers, and CI/CD.Automation Skills: Strong experience in implementing and automating security best practices using infrastructure as code tools and programming languages.Security Tooling Knowledge: Familiarity with security tooling such as firewalls, WAF, CSPM, SIEM, SOAR, and CNAPP.Autonomous Work experience: Ability to work autonomously, taking ownership of security challenges and driving solutions.Global Collaboration: Experience working in a global team and diverse environments, bringing adaptability and a global perspective.FedRAMP: Experience with regulatory compliance and cybersecurity principles such as NIST SP 800-53, an asset.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $125,000 – $175,000 USD per year. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidate’s location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
