The purpose of this role is to lead infrastructure specialist teams in building, managing, and supporting solutions in alignment with company policies. This role involves managing third-party infrastructure services, developing architectural solutions, and overseeing programs to operationalise architectural designs effectively. The role also includes supporting technical architects in implementing and maintaining infrastructure designs throughout the service lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee the work of a team of infrastructure engineers.Manage a performance enhancement culture by coaching and mentoring, providing feedback, and developing employees for wider roles.Anticipate expenditures, forecast resource needs, and account for expenses to achieve fiscal responsibility.Maintain the security, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems through compliance with legislation and regulations.Create system specifications to meet business needs, working with stakeholders to translate problems into technical designs.Support, design, and implement infrastructure technologies and solutions.Take ownership of problems, proactively resolve technical issues, and ensure solutions meet business requirements.Identify and analyse problems, classify and prioritise them, document causes, and implement remedies.Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors work together to deliver services.
