Infrastructure Specialist Platform Engineering Services
**CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Specialist Platform Engineering Services opening for our client in California.** **Location:** Remote **Duration:** 12 months **Duties:** + Manage Active Directory (AD) operations, including but not limited to Group Policy management with complex inheritance, precedence, and enforcement. + Work with the client’s enhanced security On-prem AD domains, ensuring the health of the environment by monitoring AD replication and resolving any replication issues that may arise. + Utilize PowerShell and Visual Studio Code for troubleshooting and scripting tasks, ensuring efficient automation and issue resolution. + Follow existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while also creating and refining new SOPs as required for better operational efficiency. + Provide support in troubleshooting complex AD-related issues and ensure the smooth functioning of the AD environment. + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best practices in AD administration are followed. **Skills:** + Proficiency in managing Active Directory, particularly Group Policy with complex inheritance and precedence. + Strong experience working with enhanced security On-prem AD domains and AD replication. + Expertise in PowerShell scripting and the use of Visual Studio Code for automation and troubleshooting. + Knowledge of creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Ability to identify and resolve AD replication issues swiftly and accurately. + Familiarity with enhanced security practices in Active Directory environments. **Experience:** + Proven experience in Active Directory management, including handling Group Policy, AD replication, and troubleshooting. + Previous experience in managing complex AD environments with a focus on security and operational efficiency. + Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and using Visual Studio Code for administrative tasks. **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
