i3 is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Team Lead who works closely with the Enterprise Solutions Architect and maintains an intimate understanding of the infrastructure design.

They manage and monitor tasks related to the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, workstations, storage, and security systems, while leading a team of IT professionals to ensure smooth operations and alignment with mission requirements.

Responsibilities Staying updated with emerging technologies.Oversee the implementation of new infrastructure components, including network upgrades and server deployments.Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance.Utilizing JIRA to create epics, stories, tasks and subtasks. Ensure work is being tracked, logged, documented, and completed in a timely manner based on project schedule. Foster a collaborative environment within the infrastructure team.Recruit and onboard new infrastructure personnel; review resumes and participate in interviews as needed.Ensure all aspects of the infrastructure adhere to security best practices and industry compliance standards.Collaborate with teams to define processes, operating procedures, and metrics to develop a high-functioning infrastructure team.Liaise between teams to maximize productivity and effectively drive tasks to completion.Implement and manage new technologies to improve efficiency.Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.Define and implement the Infrastructure Team vision and culture.Work directly with Solutions Architect to understand the details of tasks and projects that need to be completed and translate that into JIRA. Work with Project Manager and Deputy PMs to ensure leadership is tracking all project status and any roadblocks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant IT experience.At least 3 years managing high-functioning IT teams and/or projects.The ability to manage personnel, mentor, and train.The ability to attain or maintain a SECRET clearance.DoD 8140 qualified.
