Infusion Center Generalist-Medical Assistant

Position Summary
The Infusion Center Generalist will perform scheduling, phlebotomy, and clerical duties for the Infusion Center. Assists nursing personnel in maintaining efficient and effective unit operations by maintaining records, inventories and files related to patient care activities
Job Responsibilities
Receptionist – greats and directs guests, patients. Clerical Duties – Assembles and maintains patient records. Admitting – Obtains patient insurance and demographic information. Phlebotomist – Collects patient’s blood specimens by skin puncture or venipuncture.
Education/Experience
High School Graduate Medical Assistant Certification and/or Phlebotomy experience.
