Job Overview:

The Infusion RN provides direct care to clients in their homes. This position is part-time 22.5 hours per week. Option available for a 2-day 12-hour shift or 3-day 7.5-hour shift.

Qualifications:

Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Associates Degree in Nursing, requiredMinimum two years' related experience required

Preferred:

Previous home infusion experience is desired.PICC Certification and Chemotherapy certification preferred.CRNI certification is preferred. ONS certification is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Current licensure by the New Jersey Board of Nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse.Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association is required. Completion of an IV certification course is required.

Participates in program development, quality assurance and the delivery of careRemains familiar with all pumps, access devices, drugs and central linesDevelops and maintains relationships with referral services and client baseDetermines appropriateness of patients for home therapyPerforms patient care when needed and on-call
