**Overview**
Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient’s response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson part of CommonSpirit Heath a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling and managing appointments for outpatient infusions and procedures.
+ Performs infusion and procedures as ordered.
+ Coordinates with other clinical departments and ancillary services to ensure timely delivery of care.
+ May delegate performance of some procedures and infusions to other clinical areas during off-shifts, weekends and/or when work load demands.
+ Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decision making to determine need for standard, urgent, or emergent interventions.
+ Implements and/or modifies plan of car using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning.
+ Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
+ Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs.
+ Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care.
+ Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
+ Provides patient and family education.
+ Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms.
+ Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the organization where procedures are performed.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education and Experience**
+ Associate’s Degree in Nursing, required.
+ Experience as an Infusion or Clinic RN, preferred.
**Required Licensure and Certifications**
+ Registered Nurse, North Dakota (RN:ND).
+ American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card- AHA BLS.
**Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training**
+ Strong oral communications skills
+ Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
+ Strong critical thinking skills
+ Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities
**Pay Range**
$30.62 - $44.40 /hour
