About the \"Department\"\n\nSame-day or outpatient surgery offers a convenient, lower-cost option for patients undergoing minor surgery or surgeries that do not require and overnight stay. All outpatient surgeries are performed in a state-of-the-art facility by a staff of highly trained physicians, surgeons, nurses and other medical professionals.\n\n

About The Career:\n\n\n

The Registered Nurse - Infusion Specialist will operate in a Same Day setting to provide care and administer infusion therapies, monitor patients and record results on an outpatient basis . This position will also coordinate services with lab, pharmacy, community clinics and other entities participating in patients' care.\n\n\n

All About You:\n\nGraduation from an accredited registered nursing program with a Degree in Nursing.\nBLS required upon hire. \nThree years of clinical experience that includes training in infusion therapy preferred.\nKnowledge of infusion medications, hospital processes and policies for infusions.\nBasic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.\nCompletion of infusion port access \nEncompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communication and problem solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.\n\n
