We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated RADIENCE, PATHFINDER Business Modeler to join our team. The Business Modeler will be responsible for creating and maintaining the RADIENCE business model. This role requires extensive knowledge of insurance and wealth accumulation products and industry practices. The ideal candidate will identify, recommend, and implement solutions that meet customer needs and expectations.

Position Overview

Reporting to an assigned Project Manager or Team Leader, the Business Modeler will create and maintain the RADIENCE business model. The successful candidate will hold extensive knowledge of the insurance and wealth accumulation industry products and practices. He or she will be responsible for the identification, recommendation and implementation of solutions designed to meet customer needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

Consult with customers to define needs or problem areas, and determines scope of investigation required to recommend possible solutionsGather and analyze data to determine solutions for system processing according to the customer’s business requirementsDevelop and maintain business requirements using Use cases, storyboards and/or Word documents  Provide input into task estimation and scheduling Create and maintain the RADIENCE business modelWrite, execute, quantify and qualify test conditions for more complex modeling changes which will have widespread effects Work within RADIENCE implementation methodology and follow applicable standardsStay abreast of new developments in fields of insurance and wealth management by visiting websites and reading periodicals devoted to these topics

Technical Skills / Qualifications

Strong technical backgroundMinimum 1 year experience with XMLMinimum 3 years of experience with HTML and GUI design  Minimum 3 years of experience with business data modeling and process modeling using UML or XDEFamiliarity with Object Oriented concepts preferred  Working experience relational database access (i.e. SQL) preferredMinimum 3 years experience writing and executing test plansAbility to debug and resolve application problemsStrong attention to details

Business Skills / Qualifications

Experience in working with an insurance and/or wealth management application preferred

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $84,100 - $156,100.
