**Job Title: Process Technician III** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician Level 3 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring presses are started and running to standard processes, troubleshooting molding machines, and maintaining standard operator instructions and process set-up sheets. Additionally, the technician will assist in developing mold operators, process various engineering materials, and participate in developing action plans to resolve safety, quality, production, and delivery issues. **Responsibilities** + Ensure presses are started and running to standard processes and troubleshoot those not up to standards. + Troubleshoot molding machines to bring parts into specifications for size, appearance, flash, splay, cycle time, etc. + Develop and maintain standard operator instructions and process set-up sheets. + Help develop all mold operators. + Process a variety of engineering materials including PVC, ABS, PC, PP, Flame retardant ABS, and Flame retardant PC Valox. + Participate in developing action plans to resolve problems with safety, quality, production, delivery, and 5S. + Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure compliance with Preventive Maintenance programs. + Document improvements and problems with molds, presses, secondary operations, etc. + Perform all duties associated with changing injection molds, including material setup, mold change, setting process to black book, and inspecting parts for quality adherence. + Actively participate in the 5S program. **Essential Skills** + Production + Troubleshooting + Plastic molding + Machine setup + Tooling + Preventive maintenance **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior injection molding processing experience required, typically 5+ years of experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
