**Injection Molding Process Engineer I**
**1 year contract**
**38.00-51.50 DOE**
We are seeking a highly skilled **Injection Molding Process Engineer** to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in plastic manufacturing and deep expertise in developing and sustaining optimum molding processes for medical device components. This position will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality production through scientific molding techniques and robust project management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and sustain optimum injection molding processes for medical manufacturing device components.
+ Apply **Decoupled Scientific Molding Principles** to develop and optimize molding processes.
+ Run projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
+ Troubleshoot and improve process areas within the molding department.
+ Lead and support validation activities including **IQ/OQ/PQ** protocols.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams.
+ Prepare and present detailed technical reports and process documentation.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ **10+ years** of experience in the plastic manufacturing industry.
+ Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with **Decoupled Molding Principles** .
+ Proven project management experience.
+ Exceptional troubleshooting and process improvement skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments and with customers.
+ Experience in writing technical reports and delivering effective presentations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ **Master Molder Certification** strongly preferred.
+ Degree in Engineering or related field (preferred but not required).
+ Previous experience in a **medical device manufacturing** environment is a plus.
