Quanex is looking for a quality conscious, Injection Molding Process Technician to join our 2nd Shift team located in Thomasville, North Carolina.

As an Injection Molding Process Technician, you will Identify, apply, and document the most effective methods for setting up and producing products at optimal rates. You are also required to operate any of the lines at the required rate as needed.

What Success Looks Like:

Attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day, is cooperative, autonomous and self-motivated. Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and promotes a safe working environment for all employees. Follows all internal SOPs, external regulations, and health and safety procedures and protocols. Reviews production schedule regularly. Monitors and operates equipment in accordance with operational instructions. Perform machine startups and shutdowns. Accurately documents routine manufacturing processes. Provides quick and effective diagnosis and troubleshooting of routine or minor equipment problems. Performs inspection, cleaning and maintenance of the equipment and informs Maintenance when repairs are needed.

Your Credentials:

3-5 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment with at least two years of direct fenestration production experience. High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Strong analytical, communication, clerical and interpersonal skills. Innovative Self-starter

The hourly wage for this position is $30 per hour.
