A large plastics manufacturing client in Fontana, CA is seeking an Injection Molding Supervisor to join their team. This individual will be responsible for driving improvements in the Injection Molding Department by designing and implementing strategies to optimize production processes for both current and new products. Key responsibilities include supervising the department and its technicians; scheduling work such as shift assignments, Preventative Maintenances (PMAs), and training for new technicians. The Supervisor will also develop and implement plans to enhance the department, ensure the completion of all forms and data records by technicians, and assist in cross-training Material Handler-Injection Molding technicians on routine tasks such as mold changes, machine operations, and maintenance. They will oversee the maintenance of plastic injection molding machines and related equipment, troubleshoot and repair all plastic injection molding machines, blow molding, and support equipment, and work to reduce scrap and promote operational efficiency. Additionally, the Supervisor will liaise with equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues, test new equipment, and create processes and documentation for its operation.
