Early Intervention Specialists are responsible for interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement.

Apply their scientific knowledge and education to the industrial environmentThrough observation of employee work performance, assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a plan for mitigationPerform and document all employee treatments within the workplace efficiently and completely with a strong ability to integrate feedback for continuous improvement.Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7)Proactively address postural discomfort through education and job-specific coaching with the goal of eliminating postural contributions to the injuryAssist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operationsAssist to identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics to optimize the health of the populationWork within the jurisdictional guidelines for clinical careTake outcome data and convert to client-specific reports

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training, Master's Degree preferredOther Qualified Disciplines: Associates degree as a PTA with licensure; or Bachelors’ degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training/Kinesiology/Allied Health; or 2 years experience in a Military healthcare settingDiscipline-specific license or certification as appropriateBasic Life Support and AED CertificationBOC certified or eligible to sit for BOC
