Hourly Pay Rate $25.95As an In-Line Forklift Operator at MDF you'll have the opportunity to:Maintain production and monitor, report and record quality issues of product through the In-Line saws.Troubleshoot and assistwith any mechanical breakdowns.Oversee the In-Line bag houses.Keep the In-Line area, from Board coolers to Sander infeed clean.Work closely with shift Q.C., Press Operator and Sander crews to properly track and identify work orders.Required to fill out daily check sheets for forklift and machine center.Conduct daily rounds of allIn-Line related equipment.Specific Skills and Job Requirements:Ability to operate, service and maintain equipment; included but not limited toforklifts. Ability to complete paperwork in an accurate and legible manner; including completion of move orders, and handling of retests. Ability to work with little direct supervision and be self-motivated. Ability to work closely with others andbe a team player/leader.Demonstrate good communication skills and a positive attitude. Knowledge and willingness to use safety standards of forklift operation, use lockout procedures and wear necessary PPE. Ability to maintain a clean work station, and exhibit good performance, safety and attendance records. Willingness to work any shift, work on short notice, work overtime and weekends and rotate between jobs; as well as perform any job as specified by supervisor. Ability to sit and drive forklift on a frequent basis; frequently reach and grasp; climb on/off forklift, and occasionally lift/carry up to 65lbs.
