The role
Innkeeping brings the vision of meaningful hospitality to the fabric of everyday operations at the Mansion. Our innkeepers embody their love of service by being wholly present for each of our guests. They have a talent for anticipating guest needs and providing skillful, prompt assistance. First-rate lodging ceases to be just about enjoying luxurious amenities after being held in the care of one of our exceptional innkeepers. As you start working in evening or weekend roles, you will have the ability to grow into daytime shifts as they become available.
By joining our team of gracious hosts, you would be responsible for the following tasks.
Provide and clean up breakfast serviceOversee the cleanliness of the inn’s common areasAssist with housekeeping and inspect roomsMaintain reservation records using hotel softwareUse hospitality software to create and modify bookingsCheck guests in and outProvide active service throughout shift (this will include lifting objects up to 25 pounds)Assisting with luggage and valet carsRespond to inquiries over the phone and via emailKeep a working knowledge of the bar menuOffer recommendations to local bars, restaurants, and venues in the Madison areaThe strengths

This part time role is intended to help our team meet our guest expectations and have staff present during all hours of the week. Hours can be expected to range between 8-24 hours per week.
