Division Summary:

Our Thermo Scientific brand in the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) offers customers in research, academic, industrial, and applied markets a complete range of high-end analytical instruments, laboratory equipment, software, and services. In the Materials and Structural Analysis Division (MSD) Services organization, we are redefining the way we design, develop and deliver services to increase value for our customers.

Position Summary:

You will explore and initiate new digital services for our customers. And you will join the Concepts and Solutions team, part of Service Innovation. Working closely with Service Marketing and Service Architects to define and prototype solutions that improve customer productivity and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify business opportunities based on a deep understanding of customer needs.Develop solutions that improve customer productivity and process efficiency, such as proactive monitoring, customer insights, workflow support and automation support.Define solution requirements for end-to-end digital services in collaboration with Service Architects, Service Marketing, and Product Architects.Provide technical responses and recommendations based on Service Marketing requirements and Voice of Customer research.Collaborate with R&D’s product development groups to ensure alignment and standardization of solutions.
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.Familiarity with customer applications and industries, preferably in semiconductor or life sciences.Strong understanding of data technologies and large data concepts.Experience with data exploration, analysis, and process control.Knowledge of electron microscopes and practical experience with them is a plus.Understanding of cloud concepts, web-based applications, and microservices.Knowledge of Statistic Process Control is a preference.

Excellent communication and influencing skills.Experience in agile/SAFe development teams and DevOps practices.Less than 10% travel required.Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, and experience working in international teams.
