Position Description: Support Innovation Department initiatives and activities through research, evaluation, and documentation of emerging technologies and strategic business opportunities.

Reports to: Engineer, Project Engineer or Project Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities*:

Learn about emerging technologies through guided research and hands-on experienceAssist in testing capabilities of emerging AI tools including by developing code for prototypes and proof of conceptsSupport innovation initiatives for internal deployment and implementation of new technologies and productsAssist in researching early-stage startups as well as emerging markets of interest to companySupport evaluation of technologies through structured testing and documentationHelp prepare technical materials demonstrating technology applications and findingsCollect, organize, and maintain Innovation Department data and documentation under supervisionAssist in documenting Innovation workshop outputs, meeting minutes, and innovation project updatesSupport coordination of Innovation Department activities, including scheduling meetings and workshopsMay perform other duties as assigned
