**BODYARMOR** is looking for an Innovation Intern to join our team.
As a BODYARMOR Innovation Intern you will be a part of the Innovation team and will be assigned a master project that will support the development of the BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition rolling 5-year innovation pipeline across both BODYARMOR & POWERADE brands. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the category landscape, product trends, and macro consumer trends and their potential application to the functional hydration/nutrition space. Additionally, you will work with our development team to work on product design or development, quality and sensory of new innovations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Research new and upcoming trends in the sports nutrition space
+ Create product and process designs for new innovations, or participate in continuous improvement projects for existing portfolio
+ Conduct bench-top formulation work to design and develop new products.
+ Work with the cross functional QA and Regulatory teams to understand our QA standards and metrics
+ Understanding nutritional components of products that consumers are seeking
+ Identifying white space opportunities within the functional beverage space to expand the BASN portfolio of brands
+ Learn different beverage manufacturing processes used at an industrial scale
+ Support additional ad hoc projects as requested
+ Present project results at the completion of the internship
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ Currently enrolled in BS in food science, chemistry/chemical engineering, or other similar major on track to graduate no sooner than December 2025.
+ Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
+ Basic knowledge of food science, chemistry, or nutrition science
+ Strong attention to detail. Self-starter. Team player.
+ Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment
+ Ability to travel (10%)
Monthly Compensation
$3,400-$6,700 dependent on job and degree type
