As a BODYARMOR Innovation Intern you will be a part of the Innovation team and will be assigned a master project that will support the development of the BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition rolling 5-year innovation pipeline across both BODYARMOR & POWERADE brands. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the category landscape, product trends, and macro consumer trends and their potential application to the functional hydration/nutrition space. Additionally, you will work with our development team to work on product design or development, quality and sensory of new innovations. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Research new and upcoming trends in the sports nutrition space + Create product and process designs for new innovations, or participate in continuous improvement projects for existing portfolio + Conduct bench-top formulation work to design and develop new products. + Work with the cross functional QA and Regulatory teams to understand our QA standards and metrics + Understanding nutritional components of products that consumers are seeking + Identifying white space opportunities within the functional beverage space to expand the BASN portfolio of brands + Learn different beverage manufacturing processes used at an industrial scale + Support additional ad hoc projects as requested + Present project results at the completion of the internship **REQUIREMENTS:** + Currently enrolled in BS in food science, chemistry/chemical engineering, or other similar major on track to graduate no sooner than December 2025. + Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills + Basic knowledge of food science, chemistry, or nutrition science + Strong attention to detail.  Self-starter.  Team player. + Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment + Ability to travel (10%) Monthly Compensation $3,400-$6,700 dependent on job and degree type **Skills:** organization We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
