Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a fast-growing, innovative dietary supplement contract manufacturer looking for an Innovation Scientist to lead their formulation developments and bring new products to market.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

Develop dietary supplement formulas to meet expected price points.Develop samples, scale-up plans, and confirm the viability of production formulations.Conduct raw material evaluations, document all data during testing, and assess viability in a production environment.Suggest changes to existing formulas to improve manufacturing efforts.Implement process improvements to optimize production workflows.Develop finished product specifications for new and existing products.Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability.Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures throughout the manufacturing process.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and certifications.Create samples and initiate stability testing.

To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:

Minimum of Bachelor’s of Science Degree is preferred.Minimum of 3 years experience developing formulas for dietary supplements.Must have experience bringing new products to market.Exhibit sound knowledge of the dietary supplement manufacturing market, as well as the wider health, wellness & fitness industry.Excel in a fast-paced, challenging setting, managing multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
