Inpatient Clinical Manager - Complex Medical (Full-Time)

Join ChildServe’s Complex Medical program, where we provide compassionate, 24/7 skilled nursing care in a welcoming, family-focused environment! ChildServe is looking for an Inpatient Clinical Manager to ensure care and staff-related outcomes are met in one of our two complex medical care units. This 37-bed unit is dedicated to supporting young adults ages 15 to 30 who have complex medical needs that prevent them from living at home. Here, you’ll play a meaningful role in helping residents thrive in a setting designed to feel like family. What You'll Do Partner with the leadership team regarding admissions, care, and discharges.Ensure the development, revision, and implementation of each child’s care plan and achieve the goals and outcomes established by the care team, child, and family.Assure child-specific comprehensive assessments are completed and transmitted per regulations.Manage occupancy to meet goals. Assist with the development of the unit budget and ensure proper spending. Prepare unit Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and lead implementation of initiatives.Oversee effective reporting for business, care, and team processes and data.Develop care policies and practices that align with care expectations.Ensure clinical care is implemented according to best practices as defined by ChildServe policy and practice manuals, including but not limited to infection control and safety.Implement and monitor unit-specific quality improvement activities and initiatives.Proactively communicate to stakeholders (staff, families and other internal and external partners) to ensure effective information sharing and risk management. Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure staff development to achieve high results, and promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention. What You'll Need Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Iowa, BSN preferred.Five years of nursing experience in pediatrics, rehabilitation, or with children with complex medical conditions. Two years of nursing supervisory experience.Specialty nursing certifications preferred (CPN, CBIS, CRRN).Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language. Not sure if you hit 100% of the position expectations?
