Position: Inpatient Operations Coordinator - Clinic

Location: Munster, IN

Job Summary: 

The Inpatient Operations Coordinator works directly with Providers, schedulers and patients to provide support in admissions, scheduling, etc.  Functions in a high capacity of non-clinical business skills to assist and support the continuity of care for our patients.  Responsible for tracking and updating schedules based upon Provider’s availability and clinic schedule. This position will work with both clinical and non-clinical staff, as well as outpatient and inpatient personnel. 

Education/Experience Requirements: 

 

Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum 4 years of healthcare admissions, quality and/or scheduling experience required.

Previous EPIC experience preferred.

Proficient experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) required.

Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills – both written and verbal. 

Demonstrated organizational and public relation skills. 

Professional appearance and manner. 

Ability to maintain confidentiality. 

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
