Job Summary
Novant Health is looking for a compassionate, caring Advanced Practice Provider to join a collaborative Pulmonary team of 5 physicians and 7 APPs in Wilmington, NC. This position is an inpatient only position that will see pulmonary and critical care patients in the ICU. This position works 7on/7off (eleven-hour shifts) and is a mix of daytime and nighttime shifts . This position will work holidays & weekends. Pulmonary &/or critical care experience required. Acute Care certification required for NPs.
+ Rotation of day and night shift
+ Will w ork with nighttime intensivist providing cross-cover of patients, admits patients to MICU, responds to codes
+ Opportunity to work with internal medicine residents
+ Will learn to perform central lines, A-lines, intubations, simple bronchoscopies, chest tubes, critical care ultrasound

Qualifications
+ Education: Master's Degree required. Either a graduate of an NCCPA accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post Master’s NP program required. Acute Care certification required for NPs.
+ Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current PA or Acute Care NP license in appropriate state required. NCCPA or registry with state nursing board, BLS, DEA registry required.
