ATI is currently looking for an Inprocess Inspector within our Conditioning department at our Monroe, NC facility. As an Inprocess Inspector, you will be an integral part of a team that is responsible for identifying and removing surface defects and measuring products to confirm appropriate sizing tolerances are met to ensure customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for visually inspecting the surface of the material using a dye penetrant, marking defects and flaws for grinding, and then removing defects with a hand grinder if required. To be successful, the operator will need to be able to work in a team environment with good communication and attention to detail. This position is Night shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off. Additional Responsibilities: + Weigh, band, mark, stamp, tag, and identify material after re-grinding + Check dimensions and surface quality to meet requirements + Ensure compliance with established grinding techniques + Detect and report defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to proper supervision + Follow prescribed safety regulations and keep area clean
