Job Description2nd and 3rd shift open positions needed.Operate machines that insert/fold printed matter, such as letters or booklets into folders or envelopes. Set up and adjust the machine to operate efficiently. Oversee output and make adjustments as necessary.Set up and operate most entry level mailing equipment including systems from the following manufacturers, but not limited to: GBR, Bell and Howell, Buhrs, W+D, Videojet, and Kirk Rudy Wafer Seal Machine.Perform kitting or fulfillment functions that involve assembling different materials into open item as per customer specifications.Check over quality checklist from previous departments to ensure consistent and accurate information before running job.Ensure that all operations are carried out at the minimum cost consistent with quality standards.Ensure that all related equipment is in proper operating condition; perform routine maintenance as needed.Monitor workflow of department.Participate in training events to determine best practices and minimize waste

QualificationsRequires excellent knowledge of standard set ups, adjustments and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment. Ability to set up, operate, and perform basic adjustments to the equipment according to the individual job requirements, operating characteristics, and capabilities of the equipment. Typically, the adjustments performed at this level are more complex due to the variable setup of add on equipment.

 

Additional InformationHigh School diploma or GED is required. At least 2 years of production experience is preferred.Must have a strong attention to detail and be comfortable working independently and with a team to achieve production expectations.Must be well organized and able to communicate effectively with various departments within the organization.Must be able to work outside normal working hours to accommodate production needs when required.

Note: Open positions are for 2nd and 3rd shift.

 

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.00 - $24.75 / hour.  Plus $1:00 additional for 2nd shift and $2:00 dollars differential for 3rd shift. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
