Inside Project Consultant
MAU is hiring a Sales Engineer for our client in Charlotte, NC. As a Sales Engineer, you will support the outside sales team by driving our precast concrete boardwalk system's technical marketing, promotion, and sales. This role involves leveraging your technical expertise to provide consultative solutions to owners, architects, engineers, and contractors, primarily focusing on the greenway and trail construction industry. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Benefits Package 401k matching Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short-term disability Long term disability Paid time off Health savings account Shift Information Hybrid schedule with four days in the office and one day working from home Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience General Requirements Strong ability to communicate technical information, concepts, and applications using consultative marketing skills, both verbally and in writing Proficiency with CAD software and Bluebeam Revu Strong project management skills with attention to detail Experience utilizing a CRM system to manage marketing and sales activities A valid Driver's License is required Essential Functions Build and maintain strong professional relationships with current and potential customers, including specifying architects, engineers, and agencies Assist customers in distinguishing between needs and preferences for boardwalk systems Respond promptly to sales leads via phone and email Execute a structured marketing and sales strategy with discipline, continuously improving in Consultative Marketing and Transactional Selling Foster client relationships and explore business opportunities within the assigned territory Provide technical expertise in boardwalk applications for our precast boardwalk systems Prepare budget estimates for initial project designs and develop pricing strategies for final project stages during the transactional sales process Conduct systematic follow-up on projects in unassigned sales regions Support the outside sales team with project consultations and cost estimates Generate engineering concepts using AutoCAD Perform additional tasks as assigned Travel Willingness to travel as needed #PS
