To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Drive, and lead the renewals process with and without the account team to preserve and improve customer contracts and relationships

Proactively manage high volume module of expiring accounts quarterly

Effectively engage with key decision makers to identify customer requirements and uncover roadblocks to ensure timely commitments

Maintain and report an accurate rolling 180-day forecast of renewals

Negotiate and execute renewal contracts (in partnership with legal, finance) that align to customer goals

Discover and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal to maximize customer growth

Communicate risk clearly and take the lead in developing resolution strategies, escalating wherever appropriate to maximize retention

Collaborate with other teams, segments or business units to obtain approvals, engage renewal assistance and finalize contracts.

Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas including product

Set customers up for future success by curating use-case recommendations and educating customers on relevant new features and opportunities to grow with RingCentral


 

 Desired Qualifications:


 

2+ years of Quota Carrying experience (e.g., Renewals, Enterprise Sales, Account Management), preferably in a SaaS organization

Shown discovery, negotiation and closing skills

Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding quota or set metrics

Strong time management, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and collaborative selling or retention skills

Experience handling a pipeline and closing large contracts

Ability to connect the dots organizationally and influence partners from various roles, levels, and profiles to drive collaboration and program excellence

Excellent customer service orientation, face-to-face and on the phone 

Excellent oral and written communication skills including listening and presentation skills

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to convey and relate ideas to others

Can make critical decisions that is both legal, moral and ethical with very little supervision

Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Self Starter with a history of great decision making, planning, and execution to results

Ability to excel in a team-oriented, collaborative, and fast-paced environment

Approaches work with empathy and a creative, problem-solving mentality

Self-motivated, proactive, energetic teammate

Outstanding time and process management skills, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks

Treats work like a craft, constantly honing and refining skills to adapt to an ever-changing landscape
