Inside Sales Account Manager

Identifies opportunities and sellsIQVIA MedTech software, data, consulting, and commercial field solutions via remote/inside sales activities (inbound and outbound) to assigned U.S. based medical device companies. Works closely with senior-level salespeople to close new business using a consultative sales approach.

As a valuable member of the Inside Sales Team, focus on outbound calling with the objective of booking product demonstrations and closing business for our commercial solutions. This contributes directly to top line revenue growth and also IQVIA, to enhance prospective relationships and increase the volume of quality customer touch points. This position is fully remote/home based in US.

Essential Functions:

• Drive the number of the inside sales team; understand the correlation between activity and revenue

• Provide weekly/monthly sales and revenue reports as well as realistic forecasts to the management team

• Build relationships across the MedTech business unit.

• Work with the US Sales Director on developing sales strategies along with setting targets.

• Sourcing relevant companies to target.

• Prospecting and calling new business prospects in the MedTech / Medical Devices industry.

• Strive to meet and exceed all established call and revenue targets

• Customer interaction: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business, challenges, and strategy, in order to become partner of choice

• Developing and growing a network of key contacts across clients at all levels

• Continually develop and update own knowledge and understanding of MedTech, IQVIA and offerings and of nominated client base.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree Required.

• Proven track record of 2+ years inside sales experience and a passion for new business sales required.

• Relevant sales experience from Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and/or MedTech industry, required.

• Track record of over-achieving sales quota required.

• Strong phone presence and experience dialing a high number of calls per day required.

• Thrive in a quick sales cycle environment and demonstrable skills in problem solving.

• Ability to articulate a customer’s issue by offering the best IQVIA solution required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts.

• Proactive and accountable with the aim to always drive positive client satisfaction.

• Building strong and lasting relationships with customers.

• Target driven, self-motivated, with a passion for sales.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $65,600.00 - $109,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
