Inside Sales Account Manager

Purpose:

Drive revenue growth and customer retention by effectively engaging with customers, supporting proactive sales campaigns, and managing inbound leads.

Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound leads, ensuring prompt follow-up, qualification, and handoff to the appropriate sales representatives.

Responsibilities:

Engage with existing customers to understand their needs, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and facilitate account expansion. Develop and execute proactive sales campaigns targeting specific customer segments or market opportunities. Active role in territory planning and business development for efficiency gains within territories. Driving After Sales process to increase attach and upsell rates. Manage the inbound lead process, including qualification, follow-up, and escalation as needed, to ensure leads are effectively handled and converted. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other initiatives. Monitor sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline development, and revenue attainment, and provide regular updates to sales leadership. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead management activities in CRM system. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities and inform sales strategies.

Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in inside sales, account management, or a related role, with a focus on customer retention and revenue growth. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers and colleagues. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction  Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting. Analytical skills and attention to detail to track and analyze sales performance metrics.
