Quality Logistics Solutions Inside Sales & Logistics will be a key contributor to Brokerage Business Development. Quality Logistics Solutions is on a quest to find a highly motivated, sales-oriented individual to assist in relationship building, meeting sales goals and objectives defined by KPI targets.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Present and sell company services to new and existing customers Solicit new sales by developing leads, complete prospecting calls and visits to proactively develop a new portfolio of potential customers Stay up to date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers Develop effective systems and processes for prospect identification, qualification, and management Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly Perform various account management tasks (as needed) such as load planning, appointment scheduling, phone management and email correspondenceRequired Skills/Abilities:
Extremely competitive Strong negotiation skills Deadline and detail-oriented Excellent presentation abilities Proven ability to close business and understand market trends 2-5 years of transportation planning/sales experience Willingness to work as an integral part of a Logistics team Adaptability, skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions Established book of business, is preferred Prior experience with TMW Software, a plus Google Apps knowledge, a plusEducation and Experience:
High School Diploma or GEDTravel: Up to 25%
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, and days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office and computer equipment.
