Job Summary 
The Inside Sales Assistant (co-op) is responsible for the support, quotation, order write up and application for S&C products, under minimal supervision. They are also the main contact for customers and provide assistance to team members in such areas as product knowledge, production process, departmental procedures and process.

Work Term: Spring/Summer 2025: 4 Months (May- Aug 2025) 

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 1 day on-site
 

Responsibilities 

Respond to and provide information to internal clients by telephone, written communication, or in person.Basic Electrical & Protection Engineering performing various calculations, including available fault current analysis and fuse curve coordinationLearn and recommend protection for substation transformers, busses and feedersAssist by collaborating and contributing to high-voltage protection projectsLearn and develop single line diagrams for electrical utility and industrial customers high-voltage circuitsSummarizing transmission and distribution level system protection specifications and applying S&C protection devicesAdditional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in electrical engineeringEnrolled and eligible for the Spring/Summer 2025 work termKnowledge of basic engineering conceptsBasic understanding of electrical systems     Ability to comprehend electric schematic drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and problem solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office software
