The successful candidates responsibilities will include but not limited to answering incoming phone calls for the commercial department, generating daily/weekly sales & marketing reports, setting up customer visits, help manage customer accounts, facilitate the acceptance and processing of customer claims for both quality and accounts receivable, and serve as a primary backup for any of the Inside Sale's staff positions as needed. Able to work scheduled/unscheduled overtime. Key responsibilities include: + Providing responsive service and building strong customer relationships with an emphasis on commercial excellence. + Entering accurate orders, proactively solving problems, and ensuring effective communication between customers and internal teams (operations, shipping, credit, metallurgy). + Coordinating efforts to resolve claims with customers, metallurgists, sales, and accounts receivable teams. + Working with field claim buyers to resell claimed material while maximizing profitability. + Managing inventory levels and collaborating with the scheduler to ensure efficient production. + Serving as the main point of contact for customers and handling various aspects of customer accounts. + Assisting in all functions of customer service as needed, including providing support to other commercial team members when required.
