Inside Sales Coordinator

What success looks like in this role:

Responds to inbound and outbound client contact regarding product and service information and identifies upselling opportunities from such contact. Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains client records and completes required documentation. Identifies and qualifies prospective clients and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems. May have an assigned product line that overlaps other Sales territories.

• Gains familiarity with Inside Sales processes and practices.

•  Performs primarily transactional and entry-level Inside Sales duties, including:

Handling inbound client-initiated calls routed through a queue or email inquiries in response to promotional marketing campaigns,

Performing outbound calling to existing clients to ascertain quality levels, understand needs and sell or upsell new products and services,

Addressing client questions during the sales process,

Responding to inquiries regarding pricing, billing and charges,

Following up via telephone with potential clients,

Learning to use Salesforce.com, and related productivity tools,

Tracking and reporting sales and other activities to management, and

Submitting paperwork on time, completely and accurately.

•  Learns and complies with Inside Sales standards and policies.

•  Learns and utilizes the company sales playbook for all client engagements.

•  Meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas.

•  Attends required sales and product trainings to remain current with company products, services and sales methodologies.

•   Assists with special projects as assigned.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• BA/BS degree and 0-2 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Completes standard and less complex assignments following established procedures and methodologies

• Requires little or no prior experience

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Listens for understanding

• Ability to convey technical / process information in a clear and precise manner

• Ability to form solid working relationships with peers and colleagues

This role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.  Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
