As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Service Sales Representative to join our rail team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales aptitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role will involve building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and effectively presenting solutions to meet those needs.

The incumbent in this job is a self-starting individual who is able to interact with various technical and commercial topics and provides leadership and guidance to supporting team members of other departments.  Knowledge of the company’s rail products is required, as well as familiarity with industry trends and competitive environment. A high work ethic, a personal commitment to meeting deadlines, are prerequisites. The incumbent also takes ownership of all service orders or projects, to include ERP or sales system requirements for parts.  Strong collaboration with both operations and planning is expected. They follow up on scheduling and execution progress for flawless service performance. This position is also responsible for invoicing customers and maintaining financial reports and KPI’s related to services.

 

Responsibilities:

Ensure all service order fulfillment activities run according to the defined procedures and processes

Interact directly with customers as first point of contact (for Service Sales)

Assisting the sales team quoting orders to customers

Work closely with planning and operations on project planning and strong execution

Ensure customer satisfaction through direct contact with Customer staff to fulfill quotes and service orders

Coordinate with engineering (both local and abroad) on repair or service quote development

Lead all internal activities required from peer departments to fulfill deadlines agreed with customers

Provide support for Outside Sales, Field Services and Service Operations

Provide limited product knowledge

Assist invoice collections

Schedule service resources

Service inventory planning

Maintain CRM database

Process orders: Assist with processing POs/ Fulfill order work

Able to understand basic Contract review according to Voith requirements

Focused and open to coordinating globally within the Voith organization

When required is able to manage commercial and technical meetings with the customer

Works with team members in the field including field service personnel

Interact with team members internally, Logistics, Material Handling, Engineering and Production Planning on a daily basis

 

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Business or at least 4 years of related experience

Fully fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs

Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating positive customer experiences

Proficiency in Microsoft office, with a strong aptitude in MS Excel

Ability to make presentations and reports to upper management
