Position Overview:  We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is essential in driving new opportunities, supporting sales, and contributing to our mission. The ideal candidate will have a "maker mindset," be passionate about STEM education, and enjoy working in a dynamic, mission-driven environment. The position is remote or based in San Francisco and offers the chance to support the next generation of inventors through Play Piper’s innovative programs.

Key Responsibilities: 

- Customer Research & Prospecting: Research potential customers, grants, and funding opportunities that align with Play Piper’s mission.

- Appointment Setting: Reach out to leads and set appointments for the sales team, focusing on building a robust sales pipeline.

- Event Support: Assist in managing and organizing events, ensuring Play Piper’s presence is impactful at conferences, workshops, and community engagements.

- Social Media Support: Help maintain and grow our social media presence by curating content and engaging with followers.

- Marketing Collateral: Assist in the development and organization of marketing materials, including creating basic written content and graphics to support campaigns.

- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records in Hubspot, ensuring all customer information, appointments, and leads are properly tracked and managed.

- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets with the primary metric being appointments set. Other metrics include emails sent and calls made.

- Purchase Orders: Input purchase orders into Shopify, ensuring smooth processing and fulfillment.

- Customer Advocacy: Build strong relationships with a diverse range of customers, acting as an advocate to ensure their needs are understood and met.

Key Qualifications:

- Maker Mindset: You are excited about inspiring the next generation of inventors and are passionate about hands-on, creative problem-solving.

- Highly Organized: You have excellent organizational skills, are diligent in maintaining accurate records, and are comfortable using CRM tools like Hubspot

.- Outgoing & Personable: You enjoy building relationships and connecting with a wide range of customers, from educators to school administrators.

- Customer Advocate: You are focused on customer success and work to ensure each interaction adds value to their experience.

- Technically Proficient: Experience with Hubspot, spreadsheets, and content management is preferred. You should also be comfortable creating basic content and graphics to support sales and marketing.

- Passion for Education: You are passionate about making a difference in computer science education, and ideally, have experience as a teacher or administrator.

- Written Communication: You have experience writing basic content, such as emails and blog posts, and creating simple graphics for social media and marketing.
