Job Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a world-class team dedicated to making a positive impact. This role is essential in generating new business opportunities and maintaining outstanding relationships with existing clients. The successful candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and passionate about sales, ensuring flawless customer happiness.

Initiates and answers inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers. Responds to customer questions and takes orders. Establishes rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives, while ensuring the optimum customer experience and happiness. May generate prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads. Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities. Can either have their own defined territory or support outside field sales both not being located at a customer site or remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through internal and external requests.

Handle sales funnel for time & material & parts.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Customer Relationship Management:

Foster and nurture positive relationships with current clients to ensure elevated levels of customer happiness and loyalty.

Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

Follow up on leads and opportunities to ensure a smooth sales process.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor offerings.

Provide customers with accurate and comprehensive information about products and services.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.

Prepare regular sales reports for management.

Assist in the development of sales strategies and marketing materials.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer engagement.

Share feedback and insights from customer interactions to help improve products and services.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record to meet and exceed sales targets.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

This position is primarily office-based.

Standard working hours with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
