AriensCo is seeking a motivated and passionate Inside Sales Representative to support the sales team through an ongoing process of effective business development. This is a collaborative partnership with their assigned Regional Manager, Business Development Manager, and subsequent district-level sales managers for continued sales growth of the Ariens and Gravely brands. The position will require prospecting, identifying, and onboarding of new business opportunities within a designated regional geographic area. These new business opportunities are a combination of new dealer prospects, municipal and government prospects, and professional landscape contractors.
This position is located in Brillion, WI.
THE DAY TO DAY...
Research and compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads along with taking action on lists supplied to them by another source
Acquire and maintain knowledge of company product lines, saleable features, knowledge of ordering process
Build and maintain relationships with customers, including but not limited to professional landscape contractors and government agencies. May recommend to plans to dealers to increase sales through booking orders, marketing opportunities, promotions, new product introductions and expansion to current product offering
Gather and analyze competitive company data using client resources; obtain knowledge of Ariens and Gravely product line features and benefits
Track, report and communicate weekly account activity and history; record execution against weekly/monthly goals via call logs and call rating data
Annual travel will be limited but will be required for annual sales meetings, regional meetings, trade shows or for assistance as needed at regional dealer product and sales training events with the approval of the Inside Sales Manager
Provide District Managers and Business Development Managers with weekly prospect opportunities for contact and follow-up
Grow lower volume dealers’ business, assist with booking orders and re-orders, and build relationships via telephone contact
THE QUALIFICATIONS...
Minimum 1 year related experience in sales and/or customer service is required
Strong verbal skills with the ability to successfully communicate and work over the telephone
Experience in cold calling potential prospects is required
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, sales-related mapping software, working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AS400 systems
Prior experience with external web applications and monitoring prospect landscape contractor activity and government bid tracking is desired
