**Division Description**
ITW Electrostatics, a division of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), part of the Test, Measurement, and Electronics segment is an industry-leading manufacturer and designer of static control devices for equipment makers and end users. Electrostatics division revenues are ~$250MM per year and it is headquartered in Hatfield, PA USA. The division has operations in the USA, Europe, China, and Asia, including nine manufacturing plants and 500+ employees. Electrostatics division brands include: Simco-Ion, Eltex, Pillar Technologies, Teknek, Opto Diode, Vortec, Paxton, and AEGIS).
+ **Inside Sales responsibility:**
+ Reply and follow up on customer inquiries
+ Proactively identify and qualify sales leads through various channels (e.g., phone, email, online research, and marketing activities).
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
+ Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product/service recommendations.
+ Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotes.
+ Negotiate contracts & close sales deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
+ Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
+ Initiating and following up internally during the Contract Review process
+ Manage customer portals like Ariba, Exostar, etc.
+ Maintain and update internal metrics for the sales department
+ **Customer Service responsibility:**
+ Work closely with outside sales, project management, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to address customer needs and requirements.
+ Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers.
+ Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently.
+ Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions.
+ Take ownership of the backlog report with production and update the promise delivery status accordingly to maintain a positive on-time delivery report.
+ Review CFM and line items for partial deliveries, weekly.
+ Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude towards customers. Gather customer feedback and identify areas for improvement.
+ Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments as needed.
+ **Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in inside sales and/or customer service, preferably in a technical environment.
+ Ability to learn technical concepts rather quickly.
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
+ Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Customer portals.
+ Enthusiastic, self-starter, customer-oriented, and positive attitude are key traits
+ Experience in Optoelectronics is a plus.

+ The ability to wear personal protective gear (safety shoes and glasses)
+ Ability to communicate with others to exchange information.
+ While performing the job functions of this position, the employee will have exposure to an environment near powered motor vehicles, power tools, and automated assembly fixtures.

**Compensation Information:**
$65,000 - $70,000.
