Roles & Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed sales targets, including total booked order value and associated marginMaintain sales pipeline and activity accurately in CRM toolsGenerate sales pipeline by meeting outbound sales activity targets including phone calls, customer conversations, quote deliveries, and order conversionsProvide quicker responses to customer inquiries, helping to resolve issues, and process orders more efficientlyProspecting new customers, research potential clients in the laboratory space and initiate contact to drive new salesReal-time Supportfor technical queries, product availability, etc. to offer immediate support and solutionsAccount Management to build and maintain strong relationships with clientsMonitor orders, coordinate with logistics team for shipping to ensure timely deliveryWork closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territoryWork closely with marketing team to implement campaigns and promotions for consumablesCollaborate with technical teams to provide detailed product specifications or handle complex inquiriesContact customers to follow up on leads generated through service and other channelsStay updated on developments in the lab consumables sector to anticipate customer needsRespond to customer inquiries and act as their point of contact for PerkinElmerOccasionally offer training to customers on the proper use of certain consumables, especially if they require specific handling or use protocolsDevelop product knowledge to effectively grow portfolio within territory

Basic Qualifications:

Educational Qualification- Any graduate/postgraduate in science (Preferably Chemistry)2+ years of inside sales experienceEffective time management and organizationStrong communication skills

Preferred Characteristics:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar scientific fieldRelevant experience in the analytical instruments & consumables industry.Relevant experience in laboratory or field service operations
