Inside Sales Representative I

How You Will Make a Difference

The Inside Sales Representative I has responsibility to manage sales and Customer activities in an assigned territory.  Expected to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by building relationships, understanding Customer needs, selling repair services and products, and prospecting revenue opportunities.  Responsible for revenue up to $1.5M.

What You Will Do

The Inside Sales Representative I has responsibilities to manage sales and Customer activities, in an assigned territory, by contacting them via the telephone, emailing campaigns and Webinar presentations.

Expected to achieve a maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by understanding Customer needs building relationships, effectively selling the company’s repair services and products, and strategically prospecting revenue opportunities (approximately 75-100%% of his/her time will be spent prospecting).

Works collaboratively with Product Specialist, on location team, Customer Care, Key Account Team, book it representative, Account Manager to identify and close new business.

Works effectively with Customer Service Agents assigned to his/her territory, including facilitating introductions with Customers, and making sure the Customer Service Agent is aware of individual Customer site protocols as well as unique needs of individual Customers.

Required to attend (1) Surgical Device CMS and (1) Flexible Endoscope/ Instrument CMS with approved Customers annually.

Responsible for learning & co-providing the following services to accounts in territory:

Quarterly Business Reviews

Proactive Maintenance Inspections

Departmental Evaluations

In-Services

1 CMS in Ft. Lauderdale and 1 in Birmingham per year

1 Instrument University in territory per year

Learns effective strategies to manage a territory, plan sales activities using good time management and prioritization skills

Updates the IMS CRM system as required to document Customer information, sales activities, purchase orders, and other information required by the Company

Learns how to create and effectively deliver quarterly business review to senior managers and colleagues

Helps co-conduct quarterly/annual account reviews with each Customer via webinar or in person if drivable

What You Will Do Cont.

Identifies and quotes new business opportunities

Plans and assists w/ regular educational sessions for Customers, via webinar or in person within a drivable territory, including in-service educational sessions, preventative maintenance inspections, inventories and similar activities

Collects POs within prescribed time frames so that business can be properly billed

Resolves Customer service issues such as tracking down delayed repairs, billing issues, etc.

Investigates and resolves more serious Customer service issues, if needed, by working collaboratively with Service partners, and/or escalating as needed.

Identifies and pursues opportunities for new business and either close independently or bring in the appropriate resources to maximize changes of winning the business.

Obtain and maintain AORN vendor certification, SGNA vendor certification, and/or ISACHHM certification during first year of hire.

Develops relationships with chapters of industry groups, and GPOs, within the territory.

Required to travel up to 25%

What You Need to be Successful

Bachelor’s degree preferred, HS Diploma/GED required

Minimum 1 year of sales experience preferred

Demonstrated knowledge of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM)

Position may require working vehicle compliant with Company requirements which includes certain levels of insurance (where applicable) and Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Required to work nonstandard hours that can vary to meet Customer needs (weekends, evening)

Must be willing to take a Sales Caliper Assessment.

Required to travel - up to 25% and overnight.

Must be able to be compliant with hospital/customer credentialing requirements
