Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative, BioProduction will maintain a sales territory, support incoming customer inquiries for an assigned territory, and engage with both tactical and strategic customers that are not assigned to Field Bioproduction Account Managers. Primary customers include pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, Animal Health, R&D, cGMP, medical device, environmental, and research universities/institutions.

Responsibilities:Lead tactical customer calls, quote inquires, product inquiries, documentation requirements to strengthen business for assigned customersDesign and implement a detailed business plan with strategies to win business and drive growthEngage directly with potential clients to increase customer engagementGrow the territory focusing on meeting an assigned Annual Operating Target.Apply effective sales strategies to proactively seek out sales opportunitiesApply knowledge and understanding of the Company’s operational processes, market position, and competition to identify and qualify leads, prospects, and incoming inquires that fit our strategic objectives.Engage with Suppliers, Fisher Scientific, Production Chemicals, and the BioProduction Group to support needs through our supply chain services.Prepare quotes and related documentation to maintain updated customer profile information in Salesforce contact management.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required3+ years of sales experience, preferably within a related industry.Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to efficiently engage with various levels of personnel at the customer site.Strong analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions and observations from market trends and sales data analysisSolid understanding and proficiency in life sciences and/or the bioprocess industry to be able to serve as a resource for customersAbility to present information to research & process development scientists, purchasing, and supply chain personnel.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $24.49–$36.73.
