The Inside Sales Representative - Residential is responsible for taking consultative approach to sales to develop accounts and manage a sales territory through cold calling and relationship building. The focus is to grow a portfolio of repeat customers across the assigned territory.
Job Duties:
Develop and retain customers
Drive sales in assigned territory through outbound efforts to engage, grow and retain customers
Manages sales process via calls, email, web chats to develop and grow relationships with customers in order to achieve channel sales goals and program goals
Prepare quotes
Assist customers with pricing and availability, order processing, and order status
Resolves issues by working with the customer, territory sales team, and/or any pertinent internal departments
Acts as liaison between customers and technical team
Facilitates providing customers with marketing assistance such as web development, social media development, and graphics
Leads quarterly customer webinars by selecting and preparing content that will help build customers’ businesses
Delivers sales presentations and product updates
Uses in-depth knowledge of product application and specifications to assist customers in selecting product for their business
Providing customers with product details – features, benefits, competitive comparison
Configure generators for customer using fuel source requirements, voltage and transfer switch compatibility specifications
Assisting with the promotion of new product launches
Provide post-onboarding support & development through the dealer/distributor life cycle
Continually driving engagement of our customers to all applicable resources and programs
Reviews resources and business-building tools available for our partners to assist in their success
Promotes channel programs and benefits of participating in these programs
Inform and educate on promotional opportunities available to customers to enhance relationships and continue to foster and grow sales
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience
1 year relevant intern experience or inside sales experience
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel occasionally if applicable to the position

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
