Primary responsibilities include driving sales to new and/or existing customers through telephone contact (85%) or face to face (15%) to meet/exceed individual and team sales objectives and annual sales quotas.
This is a hybrid role that will have some Customer facing responsibilities. To support and service our customers in this assigned territory candidates must be based out of one of the following state/cities: Vernon Hills, IL or Northern Suburbs of Chicago.

What Will You Do: Manage, prospect, and build relationships within an assigned territory to increase revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Drive sale of medical supplies and devices that have a medium length sales cycle and existing account penetration. Manage sales pipeline and monthly business forecasting. Present quarterly business updates to business unit executive leadership team. Attend national sales meetings and conferences. What You Will Need To Be Successful: Minimum bachelor’s degree required. Recent college graduates will be considered with a minimum of 3.2 GPA One (1) year of sales experience is preferred. Able to work onsite in our Vernon Hills, Ill (suburb northwest of Chicago) offices 3 days a week. Ability to travel 15% annually. Solid Microsoft Office skills are required. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving and time management skills are required. Open to future growth opportunities in outside field sales in various markets across the country. Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued license driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards’. SkillsBase pay for this role is $55,000.00. This role offers on-target earnings of $72,500.00 and is eligible for uncapped commission.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
