Your role and responsibilities•\tExhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers. •\tUsing available tools and through direct virtual interaction with prospects, sort, evaluate and qualify incoming sales leads from various campaigns, events and website.•\tSupported by the application engineering team, determine early feasibility of application, and gather background to help qualify the opportunity. •\tEnter all leads in the company CRM (SFDC), determine qualified leads nurturing path based on application, comments, and all relevant qualifying comments in CRM. •\tIdentify warm leads for automatic lead nurturing and set follow-up meetings in the company CRM to arrive at sales qualified lead.•\tUnder the supervision of the sales manager, and in collaboration with the channel manger, as-sign Sales Qualified leads through the CRM to the appropriate Value Provider partner and/or local account manager.•\tUnder the supervision of the sales manager, and in collaboration with the marcom team, con-duct targeted lead generating activities, including calling on accounts in specific geographies, industry segments, or customer type.•\tOccasionally provide product quoting support using ABB quoting platform.
Qualifications for the roleWork with Technical Proposal Managers, Application Engineers, and Customers to provide larger project quotations.Support closing orders and achieve quarterly quotas.Research accounts identify key players and generate interest.Prospects for new accounts across Canada.Establish and maintain customer relationships. Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.Processes product & service quotations and drive continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.Gathers and reports to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market trends as well as assists management and vendors in planning, tracking, and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets.Able to meet deadlines.College or University degree.2 years experience in sales or customer support.
