Responsibilities Inside Sales manages customer relationship equity – this group of professionals will reach customers by phone, e-mail and other channels, they will become first point of contact for our existing Channels and End Users. They will work closely with sales and marketing team on leads qualifications, engage with new customers to learn more about a prospect’s business needs or to increase the repurchase rates. Inside Sales will become an effective team player passing engagement work appropriately to Product specialists, Marketing, Tender team, and Field sales. They might also participate or host web-demos or virtual presentations for interested prospects. Specific responsibilities for the Business Development team include, but are not limited to the following: Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Qualify and manage sales leads from industry reports, Marketo, trade shows and other sources. Follow up with assigned Sales Associate on all qualified leads. Educate customers on new product launches, promotional programs, services and product information being introduced by MSA with the express purpose of generating incremental sales revenue. Provide support and training to end users and channel partners by using tools such as product demos, toolbox presentations and phone calls. Support, drive and monitor key sales opportunities with distribution and end-users. Communicate sales opportunities to sales personnel and channel partner. Track and monitor opportunities and conversions via Salesforce. Support and service low volume distribution partners who are untouched by Fields Sales with a goal of increasing revenue. Work with these channel partners to build their pipeline of MSA business and close deals. Effectively engage with new customers to increase repurchase rates. Drive higher levels of Customer Satisfaction by capturing Voice of the Customer (VOC) information and maintaining accurate CRM reporting. Provide high-level sales support to key Strategic Accounts through account managers. Facilitate follow up with business partners to resolve major concerns and support business requirements. Use customer feedback to generate ideas about new product features, new products or new services. Research and identify new methods to increase end-user and channel partner engagement and drive new streams of revenue. Qualifications Special knowledge, skills and abilities required: Proven successful track record in business or personal development Ability to grasp technical product knowledge Excellent customer driven quality orientation Exceptional customer service skills Competent numeracy/commercial skills Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal) Ability to communicate and verbalize complex information effectively to MSA Sales Channel partners and customers. Listens carefully to customers and seeks to understand customer needs High-energy, positive attitude and motivated self-starter Strong organization and planning skills Demonstrated Sales Ability / Persuasiveness Excellent computer skills Utilized an Order Management / Issue Tracking / CRM System Some travel required Education and experience required: Bachelor or Technical degree; Languages: Excellent French and English. Italian language is a plus A proven track record working within a fast paced inside sales environment A working knowledge of CRM processes and systems, preferably experience with salesforce An ability to drive results and achieve stretched call, order and revenue targets Proven operational and organizational competencies 2 Years – PPE/safety/gas detection industry product knowledge and/or Sales experience supporting a manufacturing or distribution business via Inbound/Outbound customer phone calls 1-3 Year Demonstrated selling skills with end user/distributor management experience (preferred) 1-3 Year Demonstrated capabilities of exceeding sales and profitability goals
