Because of continued growth in our AECO business sector, we are increasing the size of our Inside Sales team specialising in our Viewpoint Project Management software. Our Viewpoint products are some of the most widely used and well thought of Project Management platforms for the construction sector. Billions of pounds of construction projects are currently being managed through our Viewpoint products.
Our Inside Sales Specialist position is your opportunity to join the Sales team for a marketing leading software, with excellent brand recognition. Our reputation starts the conversation but to be successful in this role you must be an excellent communicator who understands the sales cycle and can sell the benefits of our Viewpoint software not just the features.
You will proactively approach existing customers as well as identify new potential business from businesses which have trialled Viewpoint, those that have requested additional information. You will be provided quantified (warm) leads from our Sales Development Representatives as well as having a team of Sales Engineers and other colleagues who can assist you in providing product demonstrations to potential customers.
We will provide you with all of the tools and support to be successful in this position.
About Your Location
This position is a Hybrid role where you should be commutable to one of our three largest UK offices. BUT ideally you will be based near our Newcastle office as this is our main Viewpoint Hub where we can provide the highest amount of support when you first join us. If you are not based near Newcastle, there will be regular travel to this office in your first six months.
What You Will Do:
Creating customer satisfaction with up-sell and cross-sell opportunities focusing on both existing and new business
Drive evaluation and acquisition of new customers
Nurture and successfully close new leads
Prepare accurate and compelling quotes
Identify and seize growth opportunities
Exceed sales quotas with outstanding performance
Represent Trimble in a professional and approachable manner
Work pro-actively with other members of the AECO sales team to ensure robust product knowledge
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in proactive outgoing sales, you may have worked as a Sales Development Representative or a junior Account Manager.
1-2 years of experience in acquiring new customers by telephone
Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
Experience in selling products that require technical explanations to non-technical audiences
Strong communication skills
Independent and structured way of working
Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful but not essential
