Make your mark for patients

We are looking for an Insights Lead who is strategic, analytical, and collaborative to join us in our Insights-to-Impact (I2I) R&D team, based in our HQ in Brussels, Belgium.

 

About the role

You will be working in a team that acts as an independent advisor to the R&D teams, providing insights, performance analysis, and resource reallocation challenges while performing business planning. You will support the development and evaluation of commercial opportunities for assets at various stages, from early pipeline to late stage, including launched assets still undergoing clinical developments for lifecycle management.

 

Who you’ll work with

You will collaborate with colleagues in the Patient Solutions and Patient Evidence domain across the UCB R&D Portfolio, delivering fact-based strategic insights and helping decision-making on asset opportunities. You will develop strong, synergistic relationships within the I2I functions and respective business partners, effectively navigating all levels of the organization.

Partner with R&D stakeholders to define key questions and deliver data-driven insightsDevelop commercial and clinical development benchmarks using external and internal dataProvide market insights to identify and evaluate new opportunitiesValidate opportunities by reviewing analyst publications and gathering external consensusAssess operational feasibility and complexity of clinical development programsEngage with stakeholders to convert insights into impact

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience, and skills

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred, both in relevant scientific fieldsMin. 6 years of experience in Strategic Insights, Competitive Intelligence, or related fieldsPharma experience required; experience with UCB’s therapeutic areas is a plusExperience in pharmaceutical portfolio or strategy teams, or strategy consulting is a plusStrong analytical power and business acumen to derive advanced insightsAbility to think strategically and holistically, connecting various insight sourcesExcellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt to different stakeholders’ needsAbility to manage multiple tasks with high quality and tight deadlines
