THE ROLE

The Visual Communications Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the success of event productions by coordinating the technical, personnel and financial aspects of the Visual Communication department while supporting and coordinating with the Director of Site Environmental and the Production Coordinator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Train and assist Visual Communication Team personnel with job functions as neededResponsible for adhering to the budget and tracking financial aspects of departmentCreate and maintain inventory and maintenance logCreate daily and weekly show schedule to present weekly at staff meeting: ensuring information is distributed to head of department in a timely mannerPartner with the project manager scheduling appropriate number of staff while maintaining labor costs within the assigned budgetary guidelinesMaintain regular communication with Director of Experience and Experience Project ManagerFacilitate proper company and interdepartmental communicationAdvance equipment, site needs and travel details for showsFacilitate safe, consistent operation and maintenance of all office and mobile equipmentAttend production and operations meetings as outlined by the head of departmentMaintain a detailed and thorough filing system and database managementMaintain accurate vendor recordsEnsure that working conditions are safe and that employees are following company safety proceduresSafely operate various types of utility vehiclesFollow all safety, corporate and department policiesManage all seasonal employees fairly, maintaining a professional and supportive work environment while following up on work assignments given to crewConduct daily rounds on all areas that fall under responsibilityResearch and secure sources for new projects

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree or trade school accreditation in related field2+ years festival and concert tour experienceProven ability to remain calm and professional in all situationsThorough understanding various aspects of festival productionValid and current driver license, U.S. Passport, and credit card for hotel incidentalsWorking knowledge of web and mobile technologies, rich media, social and technical platformsProficient in Mac/PCWell versed in Microsoft Office Suite and Google DocsAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to make clear and concise decisions; sometimes with limited informationMust possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skillsPosition requires constant walking, climbing stairs and lifting up to 75lbsExcellent communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical and executive audiencesProven ability to project a professional image by working steadily, being a team player and being responsible for personal actions

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environmentsMay work in drastic temperature climatesMust be willing to work during evening, weekend hours and travel to work events, as required, to meet deadlines

Hiring Salary Range: $16.00-$25.00 USD
